After a very bad mess done by a man jealous of her father, Hikari-- who was known by the name Claire-- was thrown into the Void. She was "fished out" by Emi after 4 years and served her. Despite the fact that she was forced to serve Emi, she didn't seem to mind and even enjoy it. She met Nao again, and they seemed to be together a lot. While Nao has Shannon, she has Reyna and Ruthen, her brown eagles.

Favorite Past time: "Bonding" with her hundred weapons, getting fresh air and (as a guilty pleasure,) baking cookies. Hikari used to bake cookies for her brother whom she loved dearly. She still gives presents to boys who remind her of her brother (albeit anonymously), as she used to spoil him.
Personality: Hikari is stoic and disciplined, but after breaking her shell is is quite a softie, due to her upbringing. While she can shoot and kill without much blinking, she can't hurt innocents. Hikari is a harsh teacher, forcing her students to go to battlefield with minimal knowledge and many warnings. She is a bit awkward showing affections, settling for a pat in the back or a small smile.
Relationship: When someone gains her trust, she is there for life. She treats Emi as both her boss and sister, and seems to be fond of Toshiro. She and Nao are very close friends. Hikari tends to "befriend" people when jumping down on missions to gain advantage, but never really settles on long-term friendships.
